Industrial flow meters with multivariable flow sensors Various manufacturers utilize our multivariable DFC sensors for their flow meters. They are particularly well-suited for dp-based measurements such as pitot tubes, orifice plates, or Venturis used for compressed air, natural gas, or refrigerants. These industrial flow sensors are widely used across all sectors, especially in machine control, compressed air billing, and fuel-air mixture control. Special designs are employed, for example, in the quality control of cable harnesses to identify kinked or leaking hoses. Other multivariable sensors are used in laminar flow elements (LFEs) for minimum quantity measurement of gases. The DFC is therefore an extremely economical and precise industrial flow sensor for a wide range of applications.
