CoilThread & Inserts

Advanex are the originators and manufacturers of the industry accredited KATO® CoilThread®.

KATO® CoilThread® is the worlds’ leading wire thread insert that creates, protects, reinforces and repairs screw threads. The complete range of standard inserts is available in Locking and Free Running thread forms in Metric and Unified sizes, ranging from M2.5 to M12 in Metric, and 2-56 to 1/2-13 in Unified. All sizes can be supplied in 1D, 1.5D and 2D lengths. Advanex can provide longer 2.5D & 3D lengths available upon request.

Tangless® & Tanged

The Tangless version of KATO® CoilThread® inserts perform like Tanged inserts but do not need tang break-off and retrieval. They are quickly and easily installed, adjusted or removed offering substantial cost savings.
