Guansheng Auto Parts Manufacture Co., Ltd (GSP), established in 1985, is a leading professional manufacturer in the field of automotive spare parts such as CV (Constant Velocity) joints and CV axles. At present, GSP has seven factories with a yearly production capacity of 5 million CV joints and 1.2 million drive shafts. The CV joint application is over 1,200 and the drive shaft application is over 600. With the support of strong technical forces, GSP has the capacity to develop over 50 new samples each month and the product quality criteria are top amongst CV joint factories in China.

 

CV Joints

GSP manufactures a variety of CV joints for a wide range of vehicles by major manufacturers from Japan, Asia, Europe and America.

 

A ribbed rubber boot covers a constant velocity joint (CV joint) at both ends of a drive shaft. The CV joint is a flexible coupling that allows the outer wheel to steer, and the drive shaft to follow the up-and-down motions of the suspension as the vehicle travels. The outboard CV joint connecting the drive wheel typically has a much wider operating angle than the inboard CV joint that connects to the transaxle.

 

 

GSP manufactures AC type CV joints, which allow power transmission through six spherical balls located between inner and outer race. It manufactures AC type outer CV joint for OPEL and outboard CV joints specially developed with a molybdenum coating on the ball groove of inner races as well as the cage. Tripod joints from GSP do not have balls but uses needle-bearing rollers mounted on a three-legged spider. The VL type CV joint is a sliding joint for the drive shaft; it has balls moving in the oblique tracks, so as to transmit the torque.

 

CV Axles

GSP manufactures different kinds of CV axles, which enable a quiet, smooth drive. It manufactures CV axles with VL type joints for high-performance drive shafts, which offer a solution to noise vibration and harshness in vehicles. CV axles with AC joints have ribbed rubber boots at each end of the drive shaft that covers a CV joint. The AC joint is the flexible coupling that allows the outer wheel to steer, and the TJ inner CV joint allows the shaft to follow the up and down motions of the suspension of vehicles.

The company also specialises in manufacturing automotive spare parts and components for joints and axles, e.g. tripods, which have needle-bearing rollers mounted on a three-legged spider, instead of balls. GSP also manufactures boots, also called bellows, which are protective rubber or hard plastic covers that surround CV joints, as well as key components of the CV joint, such as cages and races. These are made of high intensity alloys and are given carburised heat treatment to enhance durability.

CV Joints & Axles Testing

GSP, which is committed to quality, uses the most advanced technology equipments for testing automotive spare parts quality. A 3-radius tester is used to test and examine the product parameters, whilst a breaking tester is used to test the joints to make sure that the product reaches the torque standards and lasts longer. A magnetic inspector detects cracks in the cages and an extension tester tests the extension capacity of the boots.

 

A temperature tester is used to test the resistance capacity of the boots and a metallographic analyser examines the inner structure of the products and ensures that there are no flaws or cracks in the raw materials. Moreover, a medium frequency induction machine is used to enhance the surface hardness and intensity of the handle and the track of the CV joints.
