INDUSTRIAL KEY APPLICATIONS

Industrial keys are generally used on shafts wherever the power transmission is involved. The keys are used to lock either a pulley, gear or coupling on the shaft depending on customer requirements.

TYPES OF INDUSTRIAL KEYS

We manufacture all types of industrial keys including parallel keys, woodruff keys, gib head keys and taper keys as per the following international standards and also to customer specifications. The application is the same for all types of keys.

Parallel keys are made as per IS 2048, IS 6167, DIN 6885, BS 4235 and BS 46

Woodruff keys are manufactured as per IS 2294, DIN 6888 and BS 46

Taper keys are produced as per IS 2292 and DIN 268

Gib head keys are manufactured as per IS 2293 and BS 46

PARALLEL KEYS

Canara Standard Keys manufactures a wide range of parallel keys as per international standards. The parallel keys offered are stepped, drilled and tapped.

WOODRUFF KEYS

Woodruff keys are used to secure individual gears in the main shafts. The company manufactures woodruff keys as per international standards.

TAPER KEYS

Canara Standard Keys manufactures taper keys using a wide variety of materials that include medium carbon steel or other alloy steels. Taper keys are supplied to international standards.

GIB HEAD KEYS

Canara Standard Keys provides gib head keys as per IS 2293 and BS 46 international standards. Gib head keys are used to lock flywheels and pulleys on shafts.

Canara Standard Keys manufactures a wide range of industrial shaft keys that are used extensively in all types of automobiles and automotive sub-assemblies including engines, gearboxes, alternators, fuel injection pumps, oil pumps, water pumps and brake compressors.
