Introduction:

Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) has officially broken ground on its new Technology & Training Center in Katy, Texas, marking a major step in the company’s long-term commitment to its workforce, franchise partners and the future of the automotive repair industry.

Facility:

The groundbreaking follows the company’s 2025 announcement of a $12 million investment aimed at developing a centralized training hub. Scheduled to open in early 2027, the nearly 14,000-square-foot facility will serve as a national center for hands-on technical training, leadership development and guest-service excellence.

The new training center is designed to support technicians throughout their careers, offering programs ranging from entry-level apprenticeship training to advanced courses focused on electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid technologies and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).

With expanded training capabilities beyond its existing corporate facilities, CBA plans to enhance the accessibility, frequency and effectiveness of its technical and service-focused programs, helping improve technician productivity, shop performance and service consistency across its growing nationwide network.

The company stated that the investment reflects its continued focus on developing skilled technicians, supporting franchisees and strengthening community service for future generations.
