Velodyne Lidar Announces Program for World Autonomous Technology Security Show

Velodyne Lidar, Inc. announced the schedule for the third annual World Safety Summit on Autonomous Technology (WSS), which will focus on vehicle autonomy and driver assistance , on the roads and in communities. The show aims to foster a better understanding of how autonomous technologies and automated safety systems can improve vehicle navigation and help build smarter transportation infrastructure. By networking and sharing diverse perspectives, Velodyne seeks to accelerate safety solutions for pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists as well as occupants of trucks and vehicles.

The 2020 edition of the free World Safety Summit, which will bring together leaders from industry, government, journalism and academia, will be held on October 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time ( PDT), The show will take place in virtual mode and will be open to the public.
