7 March 2020

TI Fluid Systems, a leading global provider of fluid system technology for the automotive industry, today announced the new heat management systems for the new Mustang Mach-E, the brand new all-electric off-road vehicle from Ford.

The new vehicle, which will come on the market in late 2020, was first presented to the public in November last year during the LA Auto Show 2019. TI Fluid Systems will supply the refrigerant lines for the air conditioning system to make the interior more comfortable and provide the battery cooling lines for the thermal management of the battery. A combination of optimized materials is used for the respective components.

"Thanks to TI Fluid Systems' over 40 years of experience with thermal products for the automotive industry, we were able to provide technical support, best practice design, manufacturing integration and on-site design support together with Ford's technical teams," said Stefan Rau , Executive Vice President, Fluid Carrying Systems. "It is an honor to be able to work with Ford when the all-electric Mustang Mach-E is launched and we look forward to helping Ford in the future."

TI Fluid Systems has been a Ford supplier for many years. The two companies began working together in 1922 when TI Fluid Systems provided the fuel lines for the first Model T. Since then, TI has worked on hundreds of Ford vehicle models.

"It is really great that TI can continue its 98-year relationship with Ford by delivering fluid handling products and systems in tomorrow's electric cars," said Bill Kozyra , President and CEO of TI Fluid Systems.
