TI Fluid Systems supplies Hyundai BEV with thermal coolant transport systems

TI Fluid Systems, a leading global provider of automotive fluid systems technology, announced today that it will provide thermal coolant transport loops for a large family of vehicles from Hyundai, Kia and Genesis brands, starting with the new NE EV, a new compact battery-electric crossover based on the futuristic "45" concept vehicle.

Starting in January, coolant transport systems will be supplied through TI Fluid Systems on eight Hyundai's battery electric vehicle platforms, all of which are produced in South Korea . The new fluid transport products apply innovative lightweight technology and streamlined engineering polymer lines produced from nearly 100% nylon material, plus quick connectors that are molded, shaped, and assembled in various diameter sizes to battery and heat engine management.

Hyundai plans to expand its BEV range to 25 vehicles by 2025, the first of which is targeted for launch in January 2021. TI Fluid Systems will provide the brake line bundles for the new BEV models, in addition to the tank mounts. fuel for various current Hybrid EV models.
