The Battery Show, North America’s largest and most comprehensive event in advanced battery manufacturing and electric vehicles, has officially opened registration for its milestone 15th anniversary edition. Taking place October 6–9, 2025, at Huntington Place in downtown Detroit, the event will unite over 21,000 industry professionals for four days of innovation, discovery, and collaboration shaping the future of electrification.
The 2025 conference will deliver a robust multi-track program covering critical themes such as battery safety, supply chain resilience, EV investments, charging infrastructure, policy shifts, automation, artificial intelligence, and recycling. Each day begins with keynote addresses from industry leaders, followed by technical sessions, panels, and workshops designed to provide actionable insights for engineers, executives, and decision-makers. With Michigan continuing to position itself as a leader in EV battery research and production—underscored by the University of Michigan’s recent expansion of its battery research facilities—the event arrives at a pivotal moment for the global energy transition.
“Our 15th anniversary in Detroit is more than a celebration—it’s a reflection of the battery industry’s progress and the critical international impact of the supply chain,” said Shamara Ray, Group Event Director, Informa Markets Engineering. “What started as a niche event has become a must-attend destination where engineers, manufacturers, and business leaders uncover ground-breaking products and forge solutions for the future of electrification.”
Industry voices echo the importance of 2025 as a turning point. “We’ve seen breakthroughs in energy density, charging speeds, and new battery chemistries,” noted Michael Anderson, Editor in Chief, Battery Technology. “At the same time, the global political and regulatory environment has grown more complex. The Battery Show North America 2025 provides the stage for technical exhibitions and vital conversations to help guide the industry forward.”
On the expo floor, more than 1,300 exhibitors—including leaders such as Siemens, BASF, and Hongfa—will showcase cutting-edge technologies, materials, and solutions driving advancements across the EV and battery ecosystem. Attendees can explore product demos, network with peers, and connect with suppliers offering everything from raw materials to fully integrated systems.
