On Dec. 23, the GWM TANK300 hybrid electric vehicle was awarded the maximum five-star safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program. ANCAP is one of the world's leading vehicle safety certification bodies with the most stringent standards. The latest test standard includes Adult Driver and Passenger Protection, Child Protection, Vulnerable Road User Protection and Safety Assistance tests, placing high demands on crash safety as well as intelligent safety systems. The GWM TANK300 excelled in these four tests: 88%, 89%, 81% and 85%, respectively.
