Rohrman Automotive Group Named Usa Today Top Workplace Award Winner
24 March 2025
Rohrman Automotive Group, one of the largest family-owned auto groups in the United States, is honored to be recognized as a 2025 USA TODAY Top Workplace Award winner. This award celebrates nationally recognized companies that make the world a better place to work together by prioritizing a people-centered culture and giving employees a voice. The Top Workplaces USA award is based entirely on feedback from an employee engagement survey completed by the employees of participating workplaces.
“This recognition is a reflection of the dedication and respect our employees show each other, our customers and the communities we serve every day,” said Ryan Rohrman, CEO of Rohrman Automotive Group. “We are collectively committed to driving relationships and providing awesome experiences to ensure our team and customers alike experience the Rohrman difference.”
With 1,600 employees across 22 dealership locations in Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin, Rohrman Automotive Group prioritizes employee satisfaction and well-being through programs like the Rohrman Restored Foundation, which has provided more than $1.8 million in support for health, counseling, education and financial emergencies for over 1,000 Rohrman families; Rohrman Recharge, a series of interactive employee engagement events focused on connection and training; and Rohrman Impact, which has donated more than $1.6 million and served more than 900 hours across multiple non-profit organizations nationwide.
The Top Workplaces program has surveyed more than 20 million employees in the last 15 years and is proud to recognize the top organizations across 60 markets for regional Top Workplaces awards. Over 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in the Top Workplaces USA survey this time around. Results are determined by comparing the survey’s research-based statements, including 15 Culture Drivers that are proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage, the organization that issued the award. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
This is the automotive group’s first time earning the title of USA TODAY Top Workplace. Rohrman Automotive Group was also honored with a Chicago Tribune Top Workplace award and Top Workplace Culture Excellence award in 2024.
