RoboSense adds GWM WEY to its list of designer achievements, which includes more than 50 models

RoboSense, a global leader in intelligent LiDAR sensor systems, announced today that it will offer LiDAR for Great Wall Motor's DHT-PHEV LiDAR Edition of the WEY Mocha. On the same day, the WEY Mocha DHT-PHEV LiDAR Edition was officially launched at the 25th Chengdu International Auto Show.

Based on WEY's Mocha DHT-PHEV LiDAR Edition, RoboSense, together with Haomo.AI and Qualcomm, developed the NOH urban driving assistance solution for WEY. RoboSense's second-generation intelligent solid-state LiDAR (RS-LiDAR-M1) is deployed under the headlights on both sides of the vehicle, one on each side. This gives the Mocha DHT-PHEV accurate sensing capabilities and provides an extra layer of security thanks to sensing redundancy. With this perception-oriented technology, the Mocha DHT-PHEV can perceive, think and make decisions like a human, and fully covers China's high-speed and urban traffic scenes - intelligent driving assistance and a safe and pleasant driving experience for consumers.

With the large-scale application of intelligent driving technologies, the increasingly complex application scenarios place higher demands on the automotive reliability of LiDAR on the front of the vehicle body. The RS-LiDAR-M1 features a highly integrated design and has passed a series of reliability tests according to the strict standards for passenger cars. These include mechanical shock, random vibration, exposure to water under high pressure, high and low temperature operation, high and low temperature damp heat, solar radiation, EMC, chemical anti-corrosion protection, salt spray and other tests. It fully meets the safety, reliability and durability requirements of the Mocha DHT-PHEV in complex high-speed and urban traffic scenarios.

Thanks to the revolutionary 2D MEMS LiDAR technology platform, the M1's unique intelligent "GAZE" function can be adjusted depending on the scenario, e.g. B. on high-speed trains and in urban areas, dynamically switch between the scanning modes, which enables the urban NOH-ADAS solution a differentiated scenario detection and secures and ensures the intelligent driving experience of the Mocha DHT-PHEV LiDAR Edition.
