Enhance the ride comfort of your Multi-Purpose Vehicle: KW V3 Leveling suspension offers travelling comfort in Mercedes V-Class

21 June 2023

KW automotive introduces the KW V3 Leveling coilover suspension kit for the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, catering to family van owners and frequent drivers with MPVs (Multi-Purpose Vehicles). The kit offers an optimal balance between driving dynamics and comfort, without requiring maximum chassis lowering. With the KW V3 Leveling coilover kit, KW combines the driving characteristics and comfort features of its popular KW V3 coilovers while maintaining nearly the original ground clearance. The kit allows for discreet lowering or raising of the chassis by a few millimeters at the front and rear axles, utilizing stainless-steel struts and damper housings. The KW V3 Leveling for the Mercedes-Benz V-class (W447) is available for the Mercedes with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. For additional details, please visit www.kwsuspensions.net.

KW automotive now offers for its brand KW suspensions the KW V3 Leveling coilover suspension kit for the 2014 Mercedes-Benz V-class with rear-axle and all-wheel drive (W447). In contrast to other coilover kits, KW has prioritized delivering a satisfying driving experience while maintaining the vehicle's original ground clearance in the development of the V3 Leveling suspension kit. The kit caters to individuals seeking excellent driving behavior without compromising on comfort. By utilizing the pre-adjusted damper setting, KW ensures the elimination of the V-Class's typical soft driving behavior, resulting in a sporty and smooth ride. The kit also reduces chassis resonance when driving over long transversal bumps, stabilizes and supports the entire vehicle body during curves. Sascha Daucher, KW brand manager, shares, "During our retailer road show for the KW V3 Leveling, we used a Mercedes-Benz V-Class as a test vehicle. Test drivers and passengers in the back seats were amazed at the enhanced comfort provided by our coilover kit." The Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer featured BBS XR alloy wheels in 8.5 x 19 inches ET44, paired with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 tires in 245/45R19, just as shown in the press images.

Damping and ground clearance adjustable

The KW V3 Leveling coilover kit offers adjustable damping and ground clearance, similar to other V3 coilover kits. Customers can fine-tune the handling through the 16-step adjustable low-speed rebound bypass valve. The rebound directly influences the suspension's deflection, which, in turn, affects the connection between the chassis and the road surface. Additionally, the KW V3 Leveling allows for the customization of the low-speed compression valve cross-section, which influences the immersion speed of the damper piston rod, steering behavior, and chassis roll. The kit enables continuous lifting of up to 5 millimeters or lowering of up to 15 millimeters at the front axle. At the rear axle, it is possible to lift by 10 millimeters or lower the vehicle. However, this adjustment is not available for all-wheel drive V-Classes. Instead, these models can achieve a lowering between 10 and 30 millimeters on both axles. The KW V3 Leveling comes with a parts certificate. In addition to the V-class (W447), the KW V3 Leveling is also compatible with the Mercedes-Benz Vito and Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer.
