Delta-Q Technologies Announces New RQ350 Battery Charger for Electric Vehicles and Machines

29 May 2020

Delta-Q Technologies (Delta-Q) is launching the RQ350, its latest sealed charger for electric vehicles and industrial machinery.

Delta-Q has achieved significant market success with the IC series chargers with an output of 650 to 1,200 watts and has targeted applications with lower power consumption with its new 350 watt charger. This new structure was developed and tested to meet product reliability in the automotive sector and to improve machine run times.

"The RQ350 is an answer to the needs of our customers in several application segments," said Lloyd Gomm, VP of Business Development. “Our customers asked us to use our highly reliable charger design for both lower and higher capacity battery charging applications. The RQ350 meets the previous requirements with a sophisticated design that is offered at an affordable OEM price. ”

Developed for demanding applications such as floor care machines, pallet runs, two-wheel e-mobility products, motor-driven devices for outdoor use and mobile work platforms, the RQ350 offers OEMs the robust design and flexible functions that they expect and appreciate from the high-quality chargers from Delta-Q. From the use of an IP66 sealed die-cast housing that can withstand harsh environments to the integration of the CAN bus, Delta-Q offers OEMs who integrate on-board chargers reliability and design flexibility. The new charger has surge protection from the AC power line and complies with a variety of worldwide regulations such as UL, FCC B / CISPR-14 and UNECE R10.

The RQ350 also benefits from Delta-Q's extensive library of validated charging profiles, which can be specified for each charger. In addition, as with the popular IC series, charging cycle data can be downloaded and new charging profiles updated by the OEM or end user.

Evaluation examples for RQ350 chargers can now be ordered from OEMs. Visit .
