Allison Transmission, a leading designer and manufacturer of vehicle propulsion solutions for defense vehicles, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), a Polish holding group of state-owned defense industry companies. Under this MOU, Allison Transmission will partner with PGZ to provide tracked vehicle transmission service and repair in Poland, expanding its product portfolio and service capabilities in Europe. The collaboration will also involve cooperation on tracked vehicle programs to support Poland's defense modernization efforts. PGZ is a significant player in the European defense industry, and this partnership aims to enhance the development of the defense sector in Poland as part of the Polish Armed Forces Technical Modernization Plan.
