Stomil Sanok plans to invest €4.8m at Polish plant

Polish automotive parts maker Stomil Sanok is planning to invest more than PLN 20m (€4.8m) with the aim of expanding the product range of its plant in Sanok, in Poland’s southern region of Podkarpackie, reports local news agency PAP.

“Our production capacity is currently used to a large extent, and this year’s investments will allow to introduce new projects and expand the existing ones,” said Marek ??cki, the chief executive of Stomil Sanok.

The company has a product range which includes seals, hoses, belts, profiles and various components made with the use of plastics, rubber and other materials, including EPDM, TPE and PVC.

The chief executive said that last year was a record one for Stomil Sanok in terms of new contracts acquired by his company.

“This will bring results within the next two to three years,” ??cki said. “In our automotive division, which increased its share in our total revenues, the improvement of effectiveness on major projects launched in mid-2014 and the second half of last year was another important factor.”

On a related note, ??ki said that Stomil Sanok is currently working on several acquisitions projects which could be finalised in the first half of this year.
