Hyundai Genesis launches at $60,000 in Australia

The famous South Korean Automobile Company has launched the new Hyundai Genesis in Australia as the company’s most expensive and ambitious sedan. According to makers, this new Hyundai Genesis would compete against BMW 5 series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. 

According to some sources, company claims that this new Hyundai Genesis features the best parts of BMW luxury sedan array. It would showcase the refined features of BMW 7 series and dimensions of the 5 series along with the price tag of a 3 series model. 

Not only would this new age genesis would come with advanced features from BMW, but company would also provide free services for five long years for distance traveled up to 75,000 km. along with this splendid facility, Hyundai is thinking of introducing a guaranteed by-back regime or program to build confidence about its resale values in the future.

Hyundai would place a price tag of $60,000 in showrooms which would automatically increase when deducing its on-road price. However, some standard features that would be equipped in this new Genesis are autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, multi speed radar cruise control, 9.2 inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, auto high beam dipping, hands free boot access and 17 audio speakers from Lexicon. Therefore, with theses features as a standard configuration, Hyundai is offering great safety as well as entertainment systems.

Along with the above mention features, the base model would also be equipped with heated power front seats and leather upholstery for all of its seats to provide classy interiors and superior comfort at the same time. However, except for these features as standards, customers would be able to customize their Genesis with different Packs offered by the company for enjoying superior control over the vehicle with latest technologies and drive care free on busy roads as well as on long stretches of highways.

One could install a Sensory Pack for $11,000 extra which would include features like highly advanced features like blind spot detection, power bolster, rear cross traffic, extendable cushion for driver’s seat, head-up display, adjustable power steering wheel, around view monitor and a CO2 sensor that would automatically combine re-circulated and fresh air to avoid drowsiness. 

For an extra amount of $22,000, one would be able to get the Ultimate Pack from the makers of this new Genesis. With this pack, this sedan would be equipped with a panoramic glass sunroof, 19 inch alloy wheels, heated rear seats, softly closing doors, ventilated front seats and noise reduction glass. 
However, every base Genesis models comes with a pre-crash seatbelt tightening system and nine airbags for superior safety. These two features earned the highest score in NCAP crash testing program.

There is only one engine that is being offered by the manufactures for all the variants of this new Hyundai Genesis. It features a 3.8 litre V6 engine paired to an 8-speed auto gearbox. This combination produces a power of 232 KW at 6000 rpm and a torque of 397 Nm at 5000 rpm. Company claims that this Genesis covers 0-100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds. Hyundai Genesis delivers a fuel economy of 100 km per 11.2 liters which is really makes this car stand above all other German sedans.
