Automotive supplier Wolverine Advanced Materials invests $10.63 million for expansion in Montgomery County

An automotive company is expanding its operation in Montgomery County and adding 93 new jobs.

Governor Terry McAuliffe announced Thursday that Wolverine Advanced Materials will invest $10.63 million for the expansion. The company makes high-performance materials in automotive and industrial noise reduction for brake and sealing applications. Wolverine is a supplier for companies such as Daimler, BMW, GM, Chrysler, and Ford.

Wolverine Advanced Materials has had an operation in Montgomery County for 40 years. The company says the expansion is needed to reach key growth markets in China and India.
