MANCHESTER, N.H., Oct. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ally Financial today celebrated the charitable contributions of 2015 TIME Dealer of the Year winner, Andy Crews, president and chief executive officer of AutoFair Honda. To recognize Crews as the TIME Dealer of the Year and promote and amplify his charitable efforts in the community, Ally presented a $10,000 grant to a local nonprofit organization that helps children throughout New Hampshire.
Ally representatives were on hand for a celebration at the dealership in Manchester, N.H. to present the grant to the Granite State Children's Alliance in honor of Crews' achievement. The Granite State Children's Alliance operates four Child Advocacy Centers including one in Manchester, and is the chapter organization for all eleven centers in the state. Child Advocacy Centers coordinate the investigation and treatment of child abuse, while helping the abused children to heal. Granite State Children's Alliance also coordinates child abuse awareness campaigns and prevention education to empower adults to keep children safe and sound.
"We're proud to recognize the incredible efforts of dealers who are making a difference in their communities," said Tom Kolski, Ally regional vice president. "Ally has provided more than 150 grants to nonprofit organizations in connection with the TIME Dealer of the Year program over the years. It's inspiring to see dealers like Andy, helping to make their communities thrive."
"We are so appreciative of the support from AutoFair Honda and Ally," said Joy Barrett, executive director for the Granite State Children's Alliance. "The financial investment we received today will make a difference in our capacity to provide justice, healing and hope to our most vulnerable victims; child victims of abuse."
Crews was chosen as a finalist for the 2015 TIME Dealer of the Year award from a select group of 55 dealers from across the country recognized for community involvement as well as business performance.
