Japanese automobile manufacturer Suzuki Motor Corporation is going to reduce its domestic production output between January and March 2016, the company announced in a press statement.
The move is due to ongoing sales decrease of mini vehicles and motorcycles. However, there will be no change in the number of production workforce in relation to this output reduction.
The production of mini vehicles has been reduced to 30,000 units, while for motorcycles (excluding ATVs) the revised output is 10,000 units.
For the next year, the full year production volume forecast for mini vehicles and motorcycles now stood at 6,75,000 units from previous 7,15,000 units.
