Duluth, Ga.-based Asbury Automotive Group, Inc. has acquired Capitol City Nissan and will rebrand the store Nalley Nissan Atlanta.
The dealership near Interstate 285 at 5211 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. in Chamblee generates approximately $70 million in revenue annually, Asbury said in a prepared statement.
The purchase brings the number of Asbury stores in Georgia to 17.
"We are very excited to add another Nissan store to better serve our Atlanta customers and are pleased to expand our suite of Nalley stores,” said David Hult, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Asbury Automotive Group. “We welcome our new employees to the Asbury family and are looking forward to our opportunities in the Perimeter area.”
Atlanta Business Chronicle reported in March that Asbury Automotive Group Inc. plans to add between 200 and 400 parts and service employees over the next two years. The automotive retailer will add the jobs across its 104 franchises and 25 collision repair centers across the nation.
