ELECTRO PLATED AND PAINTED EXHAUST MUFFLERS FOR MOTORCYCLES AND SCOOTERS
Munjal Auto manufactures exhaust mufflers and rims for several new models in the motorcycles segment. The manufacturing processes of electro plated and painted exhaust mufflers include stamping, roll forming, bending, welding, electroplating and painting. These processes are well designed to manufacture a wide range of electro plated and painted exhaust mufflers. The parts of mufflers are made of stainless steel and the paint technology with heat resistance capacity up to 5000 C. The plant has a fully automated tri-nickel and chrome plating facility meeting global standards.
ELECTRO PLATED RIMS FOR MOTORCYCLES
Munjal Auto manufactures motorcycle rims as per their customer specifications. They have three imported; modern, fully automatic rim manufacturing mills. Motorcycle rims are manufactured in multi-stage profile rolling technology. On line seam-welding support is installed for achieving better strength. The rims are subjected to automatic spoke hole piercing, grinding polishing followed by tri-nickel plating.
STEEL WHEEL RIMS FOR SCOOTERS AND PASSENGER CARS
Munjal Auto has established its state-of-the-art rim manufacturing line and the company implements single piece flow process consisting of various special purpose machines. They have all desired in-house facility for pre-treatment, phosphating and technically advanced painting system for wheel rims meeting customer specific requirements. Munjal Auto has 100% on-line test equipment including butt weld joint leak tester, radial and lateral run out measuring and low point marking, rim width and rim offset measuring systems.
For off-line endurance test, various machines such as radial fatigue testing, corner fatigue testing; flange bend impact testing and weld shear strength testing are in place for regular usage.
