The Auto Trim Division of Birla Corporation Limited offers innovative automotive interiors for new generation cars. Birla Corporation Limited, an MP Birla Group company, is a multi-location and multi-product conglomerate. Its Auto Trim Division manufactures and supplies worldwide automotive interior parts to OEMs.
Established in 1994, it has three units, one each at Birlapur in West Bengal, Gurgaon near Delhi and Chakan in Maharashtra. The division has carved out a niche for itself in the automotive segment with its expertise and quality standards as well as in-house R&D. The manufacturing programme employs thermoforming technology using environment-friendly, recyclable natural fibre both for the two-step peliform process and the cost-effective juppboard / woodstock / greenwood-based one step technology.
The division designs and develops door trim, package tray, pillar trim and other interior parts to provide facilities and comfort for car users. These elegant parts are widely used by various models of automobile majors like General Motors India, Opel, International Cars & Motors, Maruti Udyog, Tata Motors, Hindustan Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra.
